Our story
We have brought you many exquisite ancient crafts
The charm of ancient crafts lies in the details accumulated over time, which are the concrete embodiment of the ancient people's craftsmanship, aesthetics, and cultural spirit. They are not just "beautiful objects," but also "carriers of dialogue" spanning thousands of years, allowing us to touch the wisdom of life and the spiritual world of the ancient people.

"Ultimate Craftsmanship": Irreplaceable Handicraft Skills

For example, the bronze wares of the Shang and Zhou dynasties: during casting, it was necessary to first make "moulds and patterns". Everything, from the delicate lines of the decorations (such as the fangs of taotie patterns and the curls of cloud-and-thunder patterns) to the symmetrical proportions of the vessel shapes, relied entirely on the manual carving of craftsmen. Take the Houmuwu Ding (Simu Wu Ding) as an example, which weighs 832 kilograms. During casting, dozens of people were needed to collaboratively control the fire temperature and the flow rate of the copper liquid. The slightest deviation would cause it to crack, yet in the end, it achieved uniform vessel walls and clear decorations. This balance between "grand vessels and meticulous craftsmanship" is the peak embodiment of ancient casting techniques.

"Brush and ink are like the heart": the irreplaceable "warmth of handwriting"

The charm of ancient calligraphy and paintings lies not only in the "brush and ink on paper" but also in being a "visual poem" that embodies the emotions, philosophical thoughts, and the spirit of the times of the ancients.

The most precious charm of ancient calligraphy and paintings lies in that they are “handwritten works” created by individuals with the dual identities of “craftsmen + literati” — unlike the regularity of machine printing, every stroke and every line carries the creator’s emotions, touch, and personality, making them “living brush and ink”.
